Major League Soccer has awarded expansion franchises to Las Vegas and San Diego, bringing the league to 32 teams and completing its long-planned expansion into major untapped US markets.

Las Vegas FC

Backed by a consortium including casino moguls and tech investors, Las Vegas FC will play in a new $400 million soccer-specific stadium near the Strip. Season ticket deposits already exceed 25,000.

San Diego Surf

San Diego's ownership group includes former USMNT stars and local business leaders. The team will play at a renovated Snapdragon Stadium while a dedicated venue is constructed.
